The Meghalaya Film Makers Association (MeFilMA) is a dedicated organization committed to nurturing and promoting the art of filmmaking in Meghalaya. Established in 2010, MeFilMA is a registered society under the Society Registration Act of 1860. It serves as a collective platform for filmmakers, producers, and enthusiasts from across the state, fostering a strong cinematic culture and supporting the local film industry.

Leadership & Governance
The association is led by a team of passionate and experienced professionals from the film industry. Commander Shangpliang, the founder and current president, continues to guide MeFilMA with his expertise and leadership. Assisting in the administration and coordination of the association’s activities is Ms. Lucky D. Kharsati, who serves as the General Secretary. The organization operates under the guidance of an executive committee, which ensures the smooth functioning of various programs, events, and initiatives.
Annual Foundation Day Celebration
